Frenship ISD is excited to welcome Ginger Hicks back to the Frenship Family as the new principal of Crestview Elementary.
Hicks brings 22 years of experience in education and a deep passion for student success and campus culture. She most recently served as an assistant principal in Levelland ISD for the past three years. Prior to that, Hicks spent 17 of her 18 years in the classroom at Frenship, where she taught kindergarten through third grade.
“When the opportunity came to return, it felt like the perfect time to come back to the district I love,” said Hicks. “Frenship has always been a place where students and staff thrive, and I’m so excited to be part of it again.”
With a strong background in early childhood and elementary education, Hicks says returning to lead Crestview is both a professional and personal milestone.
“Joining the Crestview team felt like a natural next step and the perfect fit. I’m excited to be back in Frenship, serving a campus known for its strong culture and amazing community,” said Hicks.
As she prepares for the new school year, Hicks says she’s most looking forward to building meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families.
“I’m most excited about building relationships—with students, staff, and families,” said Hicks. “I truly believe that strong relationships are the foundation of any successful school, and I can’t wait to support and grow with the Crestview team.”
Outside of school, Hicks and her husband stay busy raising their four children, all of whom attend Frenship ISD.
“My husband and I have four amazing kids, all attending Frenship ISD. Our oldest just graduated, and the other three are still making their way through the district,” said Hicks. “We’re a baseball-loving family and spend a lot of time at the ballpark. When I’m not at school or cheering on my kids, I love spending time with family and sneaking in a good book when I can. I’m incredibly grateful to be back at Frenship and look forward to a wonderful year ahead at Crestview!”
Congratulations, Ginger Hicks, on your new role at Crestview Elementary!
