The elementary art program provides the foundation for each art student in the Frenship Independent School District. Each student is introduced to art history and culture which enables the student to develop and organize ideas. The students are also exposed to the Elements and Principles of Design, which are the tools of a successful art program. It is hoped that each child will develop the skills necessary for producing drawings, paintings, ceramics, and constructive sculptures using a variety of materials and media. All students are given the opportunity to participate in the annual district-wide Fine Arts Showcase.
