I am Alla Lujan, originally from Russia, where I was born and later adopted at the age of 17. I have lived in the USA for 18 years, where I met my husband in Lubbock, and together we have three healthy children. Proficient in four languages—Russian, Russian Sign Language, English, and English Sign Language—I have found my role as a Library Clerk at Ridgewood to be very rewarding.

I’ve been at The Ridge since it opened in 2024 and thoroughly enjoy being part of a learning environment that allows me to support both students and staff. As a Library Clerk, I appreciate the opportunity to help students find books and resources that match their interests. Seeing their excitement about reading and discovering new things is truly gratifying.

I also value the calm atmosphere of the library and being part of a team that promotes learning. Each day brings new challenges, and I find it deeply satisfying to contribute to maintaining organization and ensuring smooth operations.
