Hello Ridgewood Families!

Welcome! My name is Logan Askins, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Ridgewood Elementary. I have experience as both a classroom teacher and school administrator, and I have also earned two master’s degrees. Education is truly my passion, and I love supporting students, teachers, and families.

My goal is to help create a safe, welcoming environment where every student feels valued, supported, and encouraged to succeed. I believe strong relationships between the school and families are essential, and I look forward to partnering with you throughout the year.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Nate, and our two children, Lathen and Kai’Lynn. Our family stays busy with sports, cheer, and other activities, and I love being there to support them.

I am excited to be part of the Ridgewood family and look forward to a wonderful year of learning and growth at the Ridge!
